Positioned on the top floor of the house, the rooms in the Bed and Breakfast offer the most scenic views. Southern exposure invites warmth and sunshine via the 3-story solarium. The elegantly appointed guest rooms feature cathedral ceilings with fans and skylights and full size antique brass beds. Within the large closets you’ll find inviting, cozy slippers and comfy bathrobes. Wake up to a warm, continental breakfast delivered just outside your guest room.
If you enjoy waking up to the sun rise, the East room will be your preferred choice. Step onto the balcony and take in the view of Hogback Mountain in the distance and a pond just below. In warm weather, the balcony provides another spot to sit and have breakfast, or admire the spectacular fall foliage in October. In winter, the french doors frame a scene of snow covered meadows, trees, animal tracks and hiking trail entrances. The east room also includes a queen size bed and a sitting area with a love seat.
The western, afternoon sun adorns this room through the large window overlooking the courtyard gardens that feature a small pond and waterfall.
The balcony off of the sitting room enters into the warm, sunny solarium summer and winter. It’s another great place to have your breakfast or just relax and bask in the sun. If you’re lucky, you just might see a family of deer or moose in the meadow. For your convenience the sitting room has a small refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker in the breakfast nook. It’s stocked with plenty of breakfast foods, including hot and cold cereals, coffees, teas, hot chocolate, homemade granola, milk, juice, Half n Half, yogurts, jams and jellies. In the morning, hot muffins, bagels, homemade breads, boiled eggs, and fresh fruit are delivered at 8:00 a.m. In the evening, relax on the sofa while watching a movie or TV show, or reading a book. Direct TV, a DVD player, and free WIFI are provided.
The spacious bathroom has a full bathtub and shower and lots of counter space.
